New Year's Modified ProLon Fast

With the new year comes the tradition of fasting.  In the past, I’ve done the ProLon fast, which you can read about here.  This year, I’m doing my own version of the fast and am inviting you to join me.  I’m starting after dinner this Sunday, 1/7, and will be doing it for five days.  I’ll be eating the following each day:

Avocado: (250 calories)

One oz Macadamia nut (10-12 kernels): (200 calories)

2 cups vegetable soup (200 calories)

8 olives: (40 calories)

The keys in order to mimic fasting are to avoid animal products, keep your daily calorie consumption under 800 calories, and keep the foods low in carbs and high in fat.  With this, after five days, the ProLon research shows that there is a significant stem cell proliferation, which can be helpful in bringing health to specific places in need in the body. For the vegetable soup, I use organic broth and then add my own veggies.  You can find the recipe here.

Consider joining the fast. If you do, we have a Facebook page here you can join where I’ll be posting videos every day and where you can post your experiences and questions.
