What is BrocElite® Kids?
BrocElite® Kids is a kids version of the only broccoli supplement on the market offering pure, naturally derived Stabilized Sulforaphane in the capsule, as opposed to its precursor glucoraphanin, which is often confusingly marketed as “sulforaphane glucosinolate.” Sulforaphane is a sulfur-based phytonutrient (a fancy term for a plant-based molecule) found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, brussels sprouts, and kale. BrocElite® contains Stabilized Sulforaphane that combats inflammation, enables detoxification, promotes antioxidant production, improves sleep and brain health, and more.
How does it work?
The Stabilized Sulforaphane in BrocElite® Kids is a potent inducer of Phase 2 detoxifying liver enzymes and helps protect cellular DNA as well as promote healthy cell replication and liver health. Sulforaphane also inactivates nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB), a key inducer of inflammation, while activating Nrf2, which has been shown to lower inflammation in animal models.

What are the ingredients?
BrocElite® Kids is an all-natural product and does not contain any fillers, binders, preservatives, or lubricants. The first ingredient is Stabilized Sulforaphane, sourced from broccoli seed. The second ingredient is the Broccoli Seed Complex, which contains “cousin” molecules to sulforaphane. Cousin molecules are closely related to each other in function and structure. These molecules help to increase the bioavailability of sulforaphane and induce a higher Nrf2 induction. The last ingredient is the cellulose capsule, which is composed of only cellulose and water and is gluten-free and vegan.
Who can take BrocElite® Kids?
Kids and adults can take BrocElite® Kids. It depends on what works best for the individual.
What if my child doesn’t like to swallow capsules?
If your child does not like to swallow capsules, you can open the BrocElite® Kids capsules and pour the contents onto food or in a drink, as long as the food or drink is consumed within 24 hours.
Do you have to take it with food?
We recommend taking BrocElite® Kids with food. But you can also take BrocElite® Kids on an empty stomach.
Are there known medication or supplement interactions?
No, there are no known medication or supplement interactions with BrocElite® Kids. However, sulforaphane can lower blood pressure. We recommend people who are on blood thinners or blood thinner medications to talk with their doctor before taking BrocElite®.
Does it expire?
Once BrocElite® Kids is opened, it should be kept in your refrigerator with the desiccant sachet insert (for moisture) and consumed within 60 days. Bottles are best consumed within 1 year of production.
Do you have a certificate of analysis?

How does BrocElite® Kids differ from BrocElite® Plus?
BrocElite® Kids does not contain the added PEITC (the phenethyl form of the molecule), which makes it a less potent version of our BrocElite® Plus. Additionally, BrocElite® Kids contains 2.5mg Stabilized Sulforaphane per capsule, as opposed to 5mg Stabilized Sulforaphane per capsule of BrocElite® Plus.
What makes BrocElite Kids® different from other broccoli supplements?
BrocElite® is the only broccoli supplement on the market offering naturally derived Stabilized Sulforaphane in the capsule. Nearly all other broccoli supplements contain the precursor molecule to sulforaphane, called glucoraphanin (often confusingly marketed as “sulforaphane glucosinolate”). For younger children, taking too much sulforaphane at once could cause mild stomach upset. In case this occurs, the BrocElite® Kids version (2.5mg Stabilized Sulforaphane per capsule) provides a less potent and gentler option.
What is the suggested dosage?
Our recommended dosage for BrocElite® Kids is 1 capsule per day (2.5 mg Stabilized Sulforaphane). If tolerated, you can increase the dose to 2 capsules per day (5 mg Stabilized Sulforaphane). You can take both capsules together or one in the morning and one in the evening with food.
Are there any adverse effects to taking it?
There are no known adverse effects to taking the Stabilized Sulforaphane in BrocElite® Kids. However, if you are new to this supplement or supplements in general and are struggling with health, we would recommend starting slowly and taking it with a glass of water and a meal.
Should BrocElite® Kids be refrigerated?
BrocElite® Kids can be refrigerated after opening to maintain potency if you are using it sporadically. If you use BrocElite® Kids regularly, you do not need to keep it in the refrigerator.
