GLPerfect works best treated as part of a full metabolism program: sensible dosing, daily habits, and a few companion supplements that support gut, GLP-1 signaling, and detoxification.
What is GLPerfect and who is it for?
GLPerfect combines bioavailable berberine, alpha lipoic acid, and EGCG to support blood sugar metabolism, satiety, and fat burning while helping protect muscle.
Each 2-capsule serving delivers 30 mg bioavailable berberine HCl, 260 mg alpha lipoic acid, and 50 mg bioavailable EGCG from green tea extract.

It suits people who want support with weight management or body recomposition, who struggle with cravings or evening snacking, and who are already willing to work on diet, movement, and sleep.
How do I start taking GLPerfect?
Ramp up over the first week rather than starting at the full serving.
Days 1 to 3. One capsule with your largest carbohydrate-containing meal.
Days 4 to 7. One capsule with lunch and one with dinner, if tolerated. Tolerated means no digestive upset and no dizziness.
Week 2 onward. Two capsules daily, which is the labeled serving, taken with the meals that tend to spike blood sugar or trigger overeating. For most people that is lunch and dinner.
Basic rules. Take it with food, particularly if you are sensitive to berberine or alpha lipoic acid. Avoid taking it on an empty stomach until you know how you respond.
Give it 8 to 12 weeks of consistent use alongside lifestyle changes.
How should I eat while using GLPerfect?
You do not need an extreme diet. GLPerfect works best when your food reinforces stable blood sugar and satiety.
Aim for a protein anchor at every meal, roughly 20 to 40 g from meat, eggs, fish, Greek yogurt, or plant protein, to protect muscle and reduce hunger.
Add fiber and plants: two or more servings of non-starchy vegetables per meal, plus some fruit and resistant starch such as cooled potatoes or rice, to feed gut bacteria and support GLP-1 signaling.
Emphasize whole-food carbohydrates, and try eating them later in the meal. Protein and vegetables first, carbohydrates last, blunts the glucose rise.
Include healthy fats: olive oil, avocado, nuts, seeds, and omega-3-rich fish, which support hormone production and satiety.
Try to reduce ultra-processed snacks and sweets, sugary beverages including juice and regular soda, and eating after sundown, which often comes from habit rather than true hunger.
What lifestyle changes maximize results?
GLPerfect is designed to ride alongside a metabolism-first lifestyle: slower, sustainable fat loss with muscle preservation.
Resistance training. Two to four sessions per week covering the major movement patterns: squats, hinges, presses, rows. The goal is to keep or build muscle so that the weight you lose is mostly fat rather than lean mass.
Daily movement. Seven thousand to ten thousand steps per day, or as close as your joints and schedule allow. Short walks after meals help regulate blood glucose and appetite.
Sleep. Seven to nine hours, with a consistent bedtime and wake time. Poor sleep raises ghrelin and blunts leptin, which makes cravings worse, and no supplement fully compensates for that.
Stress hygiene. Five to ten minutes daily of breathwork, a walk outside, journaling, or prayer. High stress drives stress-eating.
How do BrocElite and BodyBio Sodium Butyrate fit in?
These two additions bring gut and detoxification support that complements what GLPerfect does metabolically.
BrocElite, stabilized sulforaphane. In mouse studies, dietary broccoli increased the abundance of Akkermansia muciniphila, a gut microbe that lives in the intestinal mucus layer. [1]
Akkermansia has been shown in laboratory and animal work to stimulate GLP-1 release from intestinal L cells, through a bacterial protein that signals directly to those cells. [2] This work is preclinical rather than human outcome data.
Sulforaphane also induces Phase II detoxification enzymes, which matters because losing fat releases stored compounds that then need processing and elimination. [3]
Suggested use: start with 1 capsule of BrocElite in the morning with food. If well tolerated, move to 2 capsules daily.
BodyBio Sodium Butyrate. Butyrate is a short-chain fatty acid that feeds the cells lining the colon, supports gut barrier integrity, and participates in immune and inflammatory signaling. [4]
Suggested use: start with 1 capsule with a meal once daily for 3 to 5 days. If tolerated, with no significant bloating or digestive upset, increase to 1 capsule twice daily with meals. Some people see the best results with 2 capsules twice daily.
How do the three work together?
| Goal | GLPerfect | BrocElite | Sodium Butyrate |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blood sugar metabolism | Berberine and alpha lipoic acid support normal glucose metabolism | Sulforaphane supports gut microbes involved in GLP-1 signaling | Butyrate supports the gut barrier and inflammatory balance |
| Appetite and cravings | EGCG and berberine support satiety signaling | Microbial support for GLP-1 signaling supports natural fullness cues | A healthier gut ecosystem supports steadier hunger cues |
| Muscle preservation | Supports pathways involved in muscle uptake and maintenance | Supports detoxification capacity during fat loss | Supports mitochondrial function in colon cells |
| Detoxification during fat loss | Indirect, not a primary detox ingredient | Directly supports Phase II detoxification enzymes | Supports gut barrier and bile-linked elimination |
| Long-term metabolic health | Ongoing support for appetite regulation and muscle | Microbiome and detoxification resilience | Stabilizes the gut ecosystem and barrier |
Frequently asked questions
What results should I expect, and how fast?
Expect slower, sustainable fat loss, often 0.5 to 2 lb per week, rather than crash-diet numbers, with better odds of preserving muscle. Many people notice fewer cravings and steadier energy within 1 to 3 weeks, with body composition changes building over 8 to 12 weeks and beyond. Individual results vary.
Can I take GLPerfect and BerbElite together?
In most cases you do not need both, because GLPerfect already includes berberine. Stacking is usually reserved for stubborn cases under medical supervision, with lab work and continuous glucose monitoring.
Can I take GLPerfect alongside a prescription medication?
Talk with your doctor before starting, and check in with them a few months after starting to review whether anything about your regimen should change. That conversation belongs with the person managing your care.
How long should I stay on BrocElite and butyrate?
Both provide nutrients that are difficult to obtain from diet alone, so most people stay on them long term.
What is the most important thing to do besides taking GLPerfect?
Protect your muscle. Prioritize protein and resistance training two to four times per week. That is what separates a short-term change from durable, metabolism-first body recomposition.
