In this episode, Dr. John Gildea and I interview Dr. Jesse Myers.  Dr. Myers talks about a wide variety of topics including root canals, oral microbiome, how oral health impacts Alzheimer's disease, fluoride, and his favorite toothpaste.  This was a very fun podcast to record, as I'm sure you will tell by the content.

Enjoyed listening to this recent podcast w/ Dr. Jesse Meyers … thanks for addressing root canals … very enlightening… which will definitely start a dialogue with my current Dentist. However, on the next podcast I know you mentioned the fluoride topic … but could you & your guest speak about implants. Are implants a viable option vs saving the tooth with a root canal (which may only last 10yrs) … if they are, which metals are the best (titanium or others) when having an implant. Bottomline, what’s the medical scoop 🧐 on implants?
